The Paul Keller Orchestra welcomes vocalist Ryan DeHeus
to the stage of the Firefly Club. Mr. DeHeus is mentored and
musically supported by 1950s vocal icon Pat Boone. Mr. Boone has helped
Ryan develope into a world class performer. Ryan's new CD was recently
released nationally on Pat Boone's CD label. The PKO and Mr. DeHeus
will be performing some of the many fine big band arrangements from
Ryan's new CD. Also, the PKO welcomes the Ann Arbor Public Schools
Summer Jazz Big Band directed by Sean Dobbins. The AAPSSBB will perform
a 30 minute set on the PKOs set break. Showtime is 8:15 PM.

The 7-piece Paul Keller Ensemble performs Keller's new magnum opus
The Michigan Jazz Suite at the Ann
Arbor District Library from 7:00 Pm till 8:15 PM. This is a FREE
CONCERT! The Michigan Jazz Suite is a collection of
original composition's inspired by people, places and icons of the
state of Michigan. The poignant Michigan stories that Keller wraps
around each piece are poetic, nostalgic and add to the visual imagery
of the music. The PKE's new CD The Michigan Jazz Suite
will be released in August, 2008.

Paul Keller will perform concerts on three nights for the 30th
Anniversary of the Summit Jazz Foundation. Paul performs with
the All Star band which includes vibraphonist/pianist John Coccuzzi,
clarinetist Anat Cohen, guitarist Jerry Krahn, drummer
Joe Ascione. All included in this 30th anniversary celebration
will be The Jim Cullum Jazz Band, The New Black Eagle Jazz
Band, The Alan Frederickson Jazz Ensemble and The Hot
Antic Jazz Band from Nimes, France. These concerts will be held
at the Sheraton Four Points in Denver (Southeast side) include
an open bar, snacks and casual, caberet-style seating. Showtimes for
both nights are at 7:00 PM. This awesome, All Star band will play
three 50 minute sets each night and the concerts will end around 11:15

The
new
Firefly Club is
located at 637 S. Main Street in Ann Arbor, MI (just south of Madison
and just north of Hill. The cross street is Mosley). The Firefly
Club is upstairs in a two-story, 125-year-old, brick building that
was originally the Ann Ann Arbor Buggy Company. It was the home
of the teen club The Neutral Zone as well as Ann Arbor's iconic
folk club The Ark. The Firefly Club is on the east side of Main
Street about four long blocks south of the main walking loop of

The 15-piece
Paul Keller Orchestra performs every Monday night from 8:00
PM till 11:00 PM at the Firefly Club. The Firefly Club is located
637 S. Main Street in Ann Arbor, MI (just south of Madison and just north of Hill. The cross street is Mosley).. The PKO plays classic,
obscure and original big band material selected from the entire
history of Jazz. $7.00 cover charge.
The Paul
Keller Ensemble performs every Wednesday from 8:00 PM till midnight
at the Firefly Club. The PKE is a three-horn sextet that plays a
variety of modern Jazz, swinging standards and creative, original
arrangements by Keller and his bandmates that showcase their strong
improvising skills. Susan Chastain provides charm and wit and she
sings songs from the Great American Songbook. $5.00 cover charge
till 11:00 PM, $3.00 cover charge, $3.00 well drinks, $3.00 house
wines, $3.00 pints of LaBatt's Blue.

Siers leads his Latin Jazz Quintet Los Gatos every Thursday
from 8:00 PM till midnight at the Firefly Club in downtown Ann Arbor,

Paul Klinger's Easy Street Jazz Band plays Dixieland Jazz
every Friday afternoon from 5:30 PM till 8:00 PM. This "TGIF
Trad-Jazz Happy Hour" is one of the most popular weekly events
in Ann Arbor. What a gasser!
Phil Ogilvie's
Rhythm Kings play every Sunday from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at
the Firefly Club. Co-leaders pianist James Dapogny and sousaphonist
Chris Smith have assembled this fine 10-piece ensemble that plays
Jazz and dance music from the 1920s and 30s. $7.00 cover charge.
